FAQ about the Toledo Junior Golf Association
The Toledo Junior Golf Association has created the Paul Szymanski Spirit Award to honor the TJGA member who embodies Paul’s love of life as well as the game of golf yet may have dealt with an obstacle in their life.
In honor of Paul, the Toledo Junior Golf Association has also established the Paul Szymanski Spirit Award Fund at the Toledo Community Foundation. This endowed fund will provide a $1,000 post secondary education scholarship to the recipient each year, who will be selected by a committee which includes a member of the Paul Szymanski family, as well as several TJGA board members.
Dr. Edward J. Jacob
Memorial Scholarship Fund
A $1,000 annual scholarship in the name of Dr. Edward J. Jacob will be awarded to a TJGA boy or girl member who will be pursuing post- secondary education at an accredited institution. Must meet all criteria established by committee.
It is the Donor's desire that the selection criteria utilized in selecting scholarship recipients include, but is not limited to, the following:
• Must be a current member (male or female) of theTJGA.
• Incoming or graduating high school senior.
