The TJGA has adopted the innovative BlueGolf system for the 2008 tournament season. BlueGolf combines event registrations and a complete scoring system, and is fully integrated within the www.toledojuniorgolf.com website system.
Once the final scores are posted, the results, and Player of the Year point distribution will be immediately available on-site and on-line.
BlueGolf will improve the registration process, online and on-site results, and has been used by the many golf associations throughout the nation.
TJGA juniors may begin registering for tournaments May 1st, 2008, at which time they will become members of The Players Club" with an account login name and password.
Players will be able to review all registered events and payment history through The Players Club account. The club also allows the player to create and update his or her own profile at any time.
An in-depth result for each tournament participated in allows the user to analyze his or her performance and playing stats. Player of the Year point totals are figured automatically after each tournament and immediately visible through The Players Club. On-site results will be completed faster through the use of BlueGolf.
Many associations currently use the BlueGolf system most notably, the Tennessee Golf Association and the New York State Golf Association. BlueGolf services over 30 Junior Golf programs in the United States and Canada including the Texas Legends Junior Tour and the California Junior Tour. The PGA Tour qualifying tournament uses BlueGolf.
The TJGA Golf Office looks forward to an exciting and successful 2008 tournament season using BlueGolf technology.
